So sorry to read about Sheila Strang's passing as I had lost touch with her after her move to Edmonton. She shared a cottage with my sister Dorothy Tewksbury at Meech Lake for many years and they both became best friends of my four boys. I went on an Alaska cruise with Sheila and friends. A great time was had by all. I will let her old friends at Meech Lake know of her death as she was much loved by all who knew her. - Posted by: Aurora "Tewky" Reford (Friend) on: Sep 05, 2013

I am sorry to hear of Sheila's death. I have been looking for Sheila for the last year for a dear friend, Aurora Tewkesbury Reford aka Tewky. Tewky's late sister Dorothy and Sheila shared a house at Meech Lake for many years. Tewky would be happy to receive any news of Sheila's last few years. The last letters / Christmas cards she sent to Sheila elicited no response. Sheila was loved and respected by many in this part of the world. Sad news of a grand gal. - Posted by: Carol Pritchard (Friend from the Gatineau Hills) on: Aug 28, 2013

I remember Sheila with such a great sense of humour and wit about her. A wonderful lady in my books. You will be missed Sheila.... - Posted by: Debra Clarke (Former employee at The Churchill where she lived in AB for awhile.) on: Aug 23, 2013
