SABRINA MARIE PONCSAK Peacefully, on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the age of 52, after valiantly battling cancer for over two years. Sabrina, qualified in psychiatric nursing, was the Program Coordinator of the Selkirk & Interlake Mental Health Support Centre. She was the recipient in 2006 of the prestigious Iris Award bestowed by the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society "in honour of her passionate advocacy and her outstanding leadership as a service provider in the field of mental health". She is sorely missed by her mother Margitha Partner and stepfather Peter Partner of Ottawa, her loving husband Rob, her son Jarrod, brothers Dennis and Edward, stepsons Bobby and Cody, and her countless friends and people she has helped with her competence, dedication, humour and affection. Special thanks to the medical and nursing staff for their wonderful, world-class care and treatment. A mass will be held in memory of Sabrina's life at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 269 Jemima Street in Selkirk at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, to be followed by a reception in the church hall.
