Our condolences to the Walker extended family; especially Ralph and Sandra. I often look back on my days in Transcona and the times when i had the privilege of working with Mr. Walker. I owe a lot to Mr Walker; for giving me the opportunity to be able to work with him. It was not only that i was an employee but that he treated me as his own son. I had spent many hours at the Walker's with Ralph as we were good friends and always had the chance to converse with Mr. and Mrs. Walker. However we moved away and contact was rather infrequent. Knowing Mr. Walker would mean that he was a great Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather; I know he will be missed by the family and all who knew him. May God grant the family the peace that passes all understanding in these next few days and may you also be able to celebrate his life and share the memories. all our love John and Sally Leder - Posted by: John Leder (Freind of the Family) on: Aug 27, 2013

Rob's memories of Don go back to his days chumming around with Ralph. When we got married in Ottawa, Don and Annette were there. He used to spend hours playing cards and reminiscing with my Dad. He loved to talk about his days at Sherbrook Motors. He will be missed. - Posted by: Rob Glaister & Donna Chan (Family Friend) on: Aug 26, 2013

Sandra and Ralph, I am sorry to hear about your Dad. I will always think of your Dad as having a great garden, with a crab apple tree, rhubarb, and lots of vegetables. Thinking of you during this time. - Posted by: Judy Brown (neighbour while I was growing up) on: Aug 26, 2013
