TERRENCE (TERRY) C. WATLING 1945 - 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Watling on August 22, 2013, after a four year battle with cancer. Terry was born in Winnipeg, May 7, 1945, the only child of Ann and Clifford Watling. He started work at UGG in 1966 where he met and fell in love with his wife of 45 years, Marjorie. Terry had made some wonderful friendships working 38 years at Xerox. After his retirement, Terry took a job working for Trader Publications in order to be closer to the classic cars he loved. Terry had a passion for life, embracing many hobbies including ham radio, scuba, photography and golf. His smile and sense of humour will be greatly missed. Terry is survived by his wife Marj, son Matthew and daughter Shannon (Ryan). The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface CancerCare and Riverview Palliative Care. A memorial celebration will be held between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg. This is a "Come and Go" gathering, an opportunity to share coffee and remembrances. Tributes will be given at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry's memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
