THERESE MARIE CLAIRE DESAUTELS (nee VALCOURT) June 24, 1921 - September 3, 2013 Peacefully, with her two daughters at her side, Therese passed away at the age of 92 years. She will be missed by her daughters Lise (Jacques Lavack) and Nicole (Gerald Collette); four grandchildren, Joelle (Neil MacLeod), Luc, Jocelyne (Jeremy Beller), Daniel (Melanie Gomes); three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Anna-Lise and Baby Collette; sisters Graziella Baril, Sisters Yvette and Juliette Valcourt, Yolande Dorge; brother Roland (Lucette); sister-in-law Aurore Desautels, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Philippe; her parents Hector and Yvonne (Rajotte), and brother Father Olivier Valcourt. Mom was a woman of faith. She loved the grandkids and was never too busy to babysit. An avid knitter, she kept us all in slippers, mitts and touques. The family wishes to thank the staff of Villa Youville in Sainte Anne where mom spent the last two years of her life, for their excellent, compassionate care. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 6, 2013 at 3:45 p.m. at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church. Arrangements entrusted to: Morris Funeral Home 204-746-2451
