Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANDREW RICHARD August 28, 1946 - August 31, 2013 Andy's family sadly announces his passing on August 31, 2013 at the age of 67. Andrew was predeceased by his parents, brother Oliver (2012) and sister Odella (2013). He is survived by his wife Janice, children Michelle (Troy) Michael, Kelly, Kerry (Bill) and Kory; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings Orv (Judith), Ozzie (Mary), Barb (Steve), sister-in-law Sandra, brothers-in-law Doug and Don (Jan), also his special sister Maureen, father-in-law George Nokes and several nieces and nephews. In his youth, Andy enjoyed playing ball for the Chalet Jets, 5 pin bowling and Sunday morning curling at the St. Vital Curling Club. He spent many summers with his family at the trailer at the Oasis. Andy was a painter by trade and worked for many years for Minerva Painting and Decorating. As per Andy's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Andy's name to the Manitoba Mutt's Rescue or Darcy's Arc.
