Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEO JOSEPH TREMBLAY March 21, 1927 - September 8, 2013 It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of a husband, dad, pepère and grand-pepère on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 86 years. Leo was predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Yvonne, his youngest son Jean-Paul (Linda), his brother George, and brother-in-law Stan. Leo is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Rose; his two sons, Denis (Mariette), Marc (Carol); daughter Lise-Marie; three grandsons, Robert (Stacy), Sean and Tyler (Kathleen); three granddaughters, Tina (Dean), Chantelle (Adam) and Tia, and seven great-grandchildren who he loved and adored, Xavier, Ryan, Alexandre, Akaisha, Judah, Noah and Brittany; his brother Bill (Sandy); sisters Doris and Denise (John); sisters-in-law Elsie, Jeanne (Ray), Therese (Ed) and Cecile (Ed), as well as many nieces and nephews. Leo was an active member of The Knights of Columbus and 4th Degree for many years, as past Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator. He was an avid curler in Fort Frances, Ontario and in his later years he enjoyed playing bridge. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Seine River Retirement Residence, home care and his family physician Dr. M. L. Cummings for their tender care and support and the doctors and nursing staff who provided such wonderful care to Leo while he was at the Victoria General Hospital. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church - 135 John Forsythe Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Action Marguerite (St. Vital) at 450 River Road, Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4.
