DANIEL JOSEPH BRELAND November 22 1944- September 21 2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather Daniel (Puting) Joseph Breland on September 21, 2013 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 68. Left to forever cherish Daniel's memory is his spouse Cecile (Tetrault),Daughters Kim Cosgrove (Kurt) and Christine Bissell (Kevin), Grandchildren Sayde, Marin, Gareth and Jasmine, Mother Annie, Brothers Aurel and Florent. Daniel loved nature, wildlife and a good party. He truly loved watching sports and in most recent years watching his grandchildren in soccer, hockey and triathalons. He will be dearly missed but we had to let him go and let the suffering end. The daily KP gathering won't be the same without him. He is in a better place, resting with his father Robert, sister Terese and brother Honore. Special thanks to Gary and Joanne Frobisher and Jan and Walter Chubey. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26 at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster Street In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to Ducks Unlimited. • SO Sad, Dan always had a smile, a tease, a joke. I was always happy to see him, he was my friend, my cuz, my family. I used to see him on construction site and he would tease me about something and his pals would laugh with him, once about my boots because they were black and not brown, he called them granny boots like The Beverly Hillbillies. Whatever. But 20 years later he got it back, the pharmacy sent me his prescription by mistake and I would tell everyone I got his Viagra, he'd try to convince us he was still like a pony. Got ya. LOL Gwen and I will miss him, our deepest condolences to the family. - Posted by: Ron Breland (Cuz) on: Sep 23, 2013
