Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWASYL SENKOWSKYJ February 25, 1925 - September 22, 2013 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Wasyl Senkowskyj at the age of 88. Wasyl was born in Strilky, Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He was employed with Feed-Rite Mills until his retirement. Wasyl will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Walburga; daughters Hannelore (Roman), Lynn (Frank); grandchildren, Andrea (Rodger), Kris (Keren), Katrina, Frankie and great-granddaughter Ieva. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 25 at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe Avenue at Watt Street with Rev. Dr. M. Kwiatkowski officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba to help fund research to find a cure for the disease.
