Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILIA RADICCHI (nee TACCHI) July 8, 1921 September 23, 2013 Emilia passed away peacefully on September 23, 2013 at Poseidon Care Centre at the age of 92 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Giuseppe, her parents Alfonso and Teresa Tacchi, her sister Ersilia of Italy, her brother Giuseppe, sisters-in-law Giuseppina, Dorothy, and Ceserina all of Winnipeg. Emilia will be loving remembered by her children Livio (Angela); Anna (Franco) Fabbri; Virgilio (Giuseppina) and Paolo. Her grand-children Roberto (Suzanne); Loredana (Federico); Giordano (Tiziana); Helen (Livio); Anthony; Corrado (Heather); Stefania (Jeremy); her great-grandchildren Andreas, Alessio, Maya and Giunia; also her brothers Elio; Vincenzo (Giovanna); Eugenio (Annetta) of Italy, Nazzareno and many nephews, nieces, and the family puppy Dusti. Born on July 8, 1921 in Gubbio, Perugia, Italy. She married Giuseppe in 1942 and started a family. She immigrated to Winnipeg with her husband and four children, in April 1961. Emilia was a seamstress and worked various jobs once settled in her new life in Winnipeg. She was an excellent cook, sewing and baking were her greatest hobby. She always had a good sense of humour, and enjoyed preparing meals for the family and grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Poseidon Care Centre, for the excellent care Emilia received over the years. The Pallbearers will be her grandchildren Roberto, Giordano, Anthony, Corrado, Helen, and Stefania. Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will commence at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Chapel of Eternal Memories, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. You will always be in our hearts and memories; we love you and miss you.
