ABRAM CORNELIUS PETERS Abe Peters aged 73 years of Plum Coulee, and formerly of Winkler, Winnipeg, Altona and Rudnerweide, Manitoba, passed away at Boundary Trails Health Centre on September 25, 2013. Left to cherish his memory are his children Dianne (Bill) Enns; Ken Peters; Brad Peters; Sharon Peters, Keith Peters, Verna Peters; also by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother Jake (Trudy) Peters. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday September 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Rudnerweide west of Altona, Manitoba with interment to follow in the Rudnerweide Cemetery Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona Ltd. On Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Didn't know he passed away until recently. Good fun guy especially when we went on our hunting trips to Dauphin. Our accopaniements were Pariesen and, some times Collie,Bradford,Kopec, Besson,plus the whole crew from Winnipeg. Lots of fun and we bagged enough to fill our tags. Only guy to pay my legal bill with my gambling cheques. We both laughed when he pulled them out.
