KATHLEEN ALICE HENRY (nee GILLESPIE) May 8, 1935 September 22, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Alice Henry (nee Gillespie). Kathy was born on May 8, 1935 in Dunville, ON. She left us peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the age of 78. Kathy is predeceased by her mother Mabel Douglas, father Charles Mackay, husband Tom Henry, brothers Ron, Macy and Isabelle. Left to cherish her memory are her children Robert, Judith, Douglas, Pauline, John, Theya, her 23 grandchildren and her brother Don. Kathy resided in Winnipeg and was a longtime resident of Brooklands Community. Her favourite pastimes were talking with friends and family at the kitchen table or on the phone. She also enjoyed spending time with family on weekends going to Walmart and finding good deals at garage sales. Kathy wished her friends and loved ones to know that she found peace knowing all who loved her. Those who knew her will remember her door was always open for a visit. On earth, she nobly did her best, Grant her, Jesus heavenly rest. Special thanks to Riverview Health Centre for their kindness and care. Honouring her request, there will be no funeral service.
