First off we are so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I was emailed by my sister-in-law to let me know. I have not talked to your mother in years but I have so many fond memories of her. Back over 30 years ago when she first came to Portage she lived behind me and we became friends. We kidnapped my husband way back then and drove him to the other side of Winnipeg for coffee. My husband did not speak much English and was a Military Police who had worked with your mom. Poor Joss had no idea that we were going so far for a coffee. We still have smiles when we talk about it to this day. Your mother and myself had so much fun together and I am so sorry we lost contact with one another over the years. It was shortly after she married Glen and we were posted and then life just got in the way. Your Mother was a wonderful person and I am so glad I knew her. Our heart goes out to all of you on the loss of such an amazing person. I shall never forget and it makes me realize how sad it is that life gets in the way to reach out to people that mean something to you. So I will say a pray for her and carry the fond memories in my heart. Again so very sorry for your loss to such a young and beautiful woman.
