BRIAN RONALD WHITEWAY August 26, 1976 October 3, 2013 Passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 37, as a result of complications from juvenile diabetes. Brian was born in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay), Ontario and lived there the first year of his life, then moved to Dominion City, Manitoba for ten years before moving to Morden for grades six to twelve before leaving for university. Brian graduated from Morden Collegiate and the University of Manitoba; Brian worked in the loans departments for the Community Civic Credit Union in Winnipeg for over ten years. Brian was predeceased by his grandparents, his mother, Judy Whiteway, and his cousin Carrie Ann Huovinen. Brian will be sadly missed by his father, Bill Whiteway, his sister Erin Whiteway; aunts and uncles -- Ginny and Jarmo Huovinen, Janice and Terry Redden, Robert and Margaret Whiteway, cousins Heather, Joanne and Cyril, Morgan, Kaylah, Talia, Serena, Sophia, Chris and Ashley, Stephen, Jesse, and David, and his Great Aunt Mary, along with many other cousins. Brian will be missed by all. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Jubilee Mennonite Church, 365 Edelweiss Cres., Winnipeg, MB. Memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1101-191 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3B 0X1 or to a charity of one's choice.
