REUBEN HART Reuben Hart, aged 86, passed away peacefully, on October 7, 2013 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by his wife, Ida (Redlich); children, Margaret (Harry) Nykiel, Shirley (Rene) Gagnon, Harvey (Marilyn); grandchildren, Sandy (Jason) Hart, Heather (Massimo) Giovannetti, Karyn Gagnon, Justin (Ashley) Gagnon; and five great-grandchildren and his sisters Tillie Waidman and Adina Hart. He was predeceased by his son Dennis and his siblings Karl, Martha Hoehne, Annie Wagner, Louis, Tofiel, Joe and Paul. Reuben immigrated to the Swan River Valley as an infant and resided in Minitonas until he and Ida retired to Swan River in 1996 and then moved into the Lindenwood Manor in Winnipeg, April 2012. Reuben loved life to the fullest. He loved the Lord and served faithfully for years at Minitonas First Baptist Church and then Temple Baptist Church in Swan River. Most recently, he was attending Whyte Ridge Baptist Church in Winnipeg. Music, golf and hockey were his passion. He had a keen interest in his family and numerous friends, young and old. His soft-spoken, caring and witty manner are memories we all will cherish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church Swan River or to CancerCare Manitoba. Funeral services will be held at Temple Baptist Church Swan River on Saturday, October 12 at 11:00 a.m.
