HERMINIA MIRANDA Peacefully following a brief illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Herminia Vicente Miranda, at the age of 81, with her family by her side on October 7, 2013, at the St. Boniface hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Susan (Efren) Mojica, Jo Ann Madolaria, her grandchildren Sheryl (Eric), Dale (Hope) great-grandchildren Isabel and Tristen, she was predeceased by her parents Eustaquio and Loretta Miranda; sister Adelaida Doctor; niece Lourdes Luna; and nephew Celso Banas. She leaves to mourn siblings from Winnipeg, Flordeliza (Toteng), Librada (Sonny) Pilar (Renato) José (Amy) and Jovito; from the USA, Avelino (Sonia), Bella, Teodolfo (Nancy); and siblings from the Philippines Jovita, Eliseo (Linda) and Angelina, and numerous nieces and nephews, in the Philippines, USA, and Canada. Lamay will be held on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12, 6:00 p.m. to midnight, at Thomson In the Park', 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 5Y4. Mass of the Christian burial will be held at St. Peter's Church on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., 748 Keewatin. Interment will be at Thomson In the Park'.
