Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Sharon and Al, and with your families in this time of loss and sorrow. - Posted by: Jo and Gerald Lynch (neighbour of Sharon and Al) on: Oct 11, 2013

  • Jean was 99 years old, yet she could still beat me (an avid player) at Scrabble every time. It was a joy to meet her in 2004 when she was a mere 90 years of age, at her daughter and son-in-law's cottage at Lac du Cerf Quebec after having driven with Dot and Stanley all the way from Gladstone (and then for a number of years hereafter to the same cottage). Jean was always cheerful and full of life. She had a witty sense of humour, too, that always made me smile. She enjoyed life to the fullest. I will dearly miss her at the lake. - Posted by: Susan and Don Fleischer (Friend and Scrabble opponents) on: Oct 10, 2013

  • My condolences to Jean's family. She was an incredible woman with a sharp mind, sharp wit and sharp humour. It was an honour to have met her. RIP Jean. - Posted by: Jill (Friend) on: Oct 10, 2013
