Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR ALEXANDRA CORRIN (nee YANICK) May 16, 1929 - September 12, 2013 Peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital with her family by her side, at the age of 84, we said goodbye. Born in Oakburn, MB to Wasyl and Anastasia Yanick. She moved to Winnipeg in the 40's where she met the love of her life Sidney. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Renay (Bobby); grandchildren, Tabitha (Kirk), Brennan, Dylan and Dawson; great-grandchildren, Jaden, Mikayla and Caleb; her sister Hope and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Sidney (2010) of 55 years, her brother, sisters and nieces. Lovingly known as Baba to all, she taught us the joy of family and friends, cooking, gardening and the outdoors. She spent countless hours with her family cooking big dinners. She retired early from Woolco to spend more time with her family. Forever in our hearts. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A mass in honour of Eleanor and Sidney will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave., Winnipeg, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating Father Isidore Dziadyk. A luncheon will take place at the family home following the service. We would like to thank Dr. Salem and the staff of the 5th Floor for their care.
