Son of 'Auntie Al's' younger sister Jessie. I grew up far away from 'the Peg' in Alberta and so did not get to see the Moores of Winnipeg very often. Still, we visited them together when they lived near the Red River and I, on my own, visited them when they lived in Charleswood. At the time, I was just age 18 and was roaming the country during the turbulent social era of late 60s. They were always wonderfully hospitable and at ease with my 'hippy' attitudes. Bless ya both--Auntie Al and Uncle Frank! - Posted by: Douglas Sydney Rebne (Nephew) on: Sep 09, 2018

I'm so sorry to read of Alison's passing in the Free Press. She was such a vibrant and engaging person right up until the end. She was a wonderful friend to my mother during her Kelowna years and we continued to visit her whenever we were back in Winnipeg. Those were special times that will live on in memory. - Posted by: Larry and Gail McFadden, Blenheim, New Zealand (Family Friend) on: Nov 19, 2013

Sorry we are out of town and unable to attend the celebration on Tuesday. Alison was a very classy lady and a wonderful person who loved to entertain her friends but treasured her family above all. Our sincere condolences to all the family. - Posted by: Connie Congdon, Roberta Good, Denise Beley (Friends) on: Oct 14, 2013
