Rodolfo passed away in Winnipeg on October 13, 2013 at the age of 81. Tatay Rudy is predeceased by his wife Timotea Sarmiento. He is remembered by his children Virginia (Max) Simo; Philippines, May (Jhun) Fernandez, Salome (Torre) Trinidad; Philippines, Yolanda (Enat) Domingo; Philippines, Rodel (Nora) Sarmiento, Gina (Dave) Ferguson, Josie (Dom) Mathurin, Robert Sarmiento, Carolyn (Chris) Storey, Cathy (Craig) Smith, 24 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, in-laws and dear friends. "Tatay we love you and we will miss you." A Memorial Lamay (Service) will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight at Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery & Crematorium 1800 Day Street.
