Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Very sorry to hear of Auntie Joan's passing. She and Uncle Walter were best friends of my parents. Lots of fond memories from King's Park. They would spend every Friday night square dancing. Auntie Joan was very special. A very sweet lady. - Posted by: Sean Cox () on: Dec 19, 2013

  • Dear Angela and Family, I am so sad to learn of Auntie Joan's passing in October. She was such a sweet and generous woman. Always loved her laugh and her fun spirit. I have many fond memories of both your Mom and Dad while we grew up in Winnipeg and always enjoyed visiting them. As I like to think, they are together again and up there with my Mom and Dad having a cocktail, dancing and having a good old time. Sending Loads of Love and our Condolences. • Aunty Joan was a part of my early life, I have many fond memories of her and Walter sharing life with us in old King's Park. Sorry I missed service but my prayers and thoughts with all the family. - Posted by: Carol Stoess (Friend of family) on: Oct 24, 2013

  • We wish to send our condolences on the passing of dear Joan. Ron and I enjoyed many chats over lunch and coffee with Joan. She always had a kind word for all. - Posted by: Ron and Susan Craig (Friends) on: Oct 21, 2013

  • I will miss Auntie Joan, she was a beautiful person. She also had to softest, smoothest skin. I remember as a child I would walk down the street to the Church of the Good Shepherd with her sometimes. I have some great memories of living next door to Auntie Joan & Uncle Walt on Silverstone Ave. - Posted by: Gail Peltz (Waltham) () on: Oct 21, 2013
