What can I say... you were one of the most thoughtful, caring and loving person on this world. You opened your heart, home and family to us. So many good times were shared and we will always miss you. I am so sorry for your family loss. Losing a parent, child, sibling, and spouse at such a young age is so hard. I know you will be looking down on everyone today as we say goodbye. Rude is going to sit in the woods today and remember all the good times you guys had hunting. We took the kids chicken hunting on Sunday of Thanksgiving, and I looked at Jacob, and memories came back of how you loved to put kids in the truck and take them hunting. Love you always Bernie! - Posted by: Danielle and Rodolphe Serceau (Friends) on: Oct 25, 2013

You may not be the one to give me away on my future wedding or to share a daddy/daughter dance at grad but what's important is that you're no longer suffering, and even in your last breaths you were able to bring people together in a way one would not have thought possible. You're not normal, you're a fighter. You will be dearly missed but not forgotten - Posted by: Marie (His middle daughter) on: Oct 21, 2013

I had the privilege of having Bernie in my grade 10 Français class. He always had a ready smile and a joke to share. Never a day went by that he could not make me or the students laugh. Rest in peace Bernard and thank-you for the fond memories. - Posted by: Dolorès Tétreault-Patenaude (Former high school teacher) on: Oct 21, 2013
