JOSEPH RAYMOND MAYO April 29, 1930 - October 21, 2013 Joe passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Left to keep his memory is his wife Signe Mayo; daughter Josephine Mayo (Ed); two granddaughters, Jessie and Julie; as well as many family members and friends. Joe was predeceased by his mother and father Wallace and Agnes Mayo, three brothers William Mayo, Charles Mayo and Ralph Mayo, as well as three sisters Ruth Fraser, Lenore McCumber and Cora Lamoureux. Joe was born and raised in Selkirk, MB and then moved to Winnipeg as a young man. He enjoyed working for the City of Winnipeg for more than 30 years, as well as bowling and fishing. In his later years he enjoyed watching his wrestling and trying his luck at the casino. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, MB. We love you and will cherish your memory always.   • I remember going over to visit Josephine and her dad was always sitting in his favorite chair or playing cards with family-oh how he loved to "hassle" us girls.
