ROBERT FRANKLIN (FRANK) MYERS May 2, 1940 October 24, 2013 On Thursday, October 24, 2013, Robert Franklin Myers of Transcona passed away in Riverview Health Centre's Palliative Care Unit. Frank was born on May 2, 1940 in St. Boniface Hospital to William Allan and Lily Myers. He is survived by his sister Carolyn R. Peck, nephew Michael H. (Pamela) Melanie and Matthew Peck. Frank was a long-time resident of Transcona and worked at Swifts and Eaton's Warehouse. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing with all of his friends. The last part of his life was the hardest but he did the best he could. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Avenue West. The interment will follow at Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Rd. at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frank's name to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Frankie -God bless him. We have been friends for over 50 years. He had a laugh so distinctive you could tell who it was in a dark Movie Show when he started to laugh.
