JUDY MARIE ELAINE BICHEL (GAUDREAU)
Date of Passing: Oct 24, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDY MARIE ELAINE BICHEL (nee GAUDREAU) It is with utmost sadness and deepest regret we announce the sudden passing of Judy on Thursday, October 24, 2013. She joined us on November 24, 1960, and has left us to join those that have gone before her. She joins her daughter Erica, her sister Elaine, and her father Paul. She will be sorely missed by her children Derrick, Tiffany, and Cheyenne (Jamie); her husband Jim; her mother Helen, her sister Ellen (Don), and her brother Keath (Kathy). Aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews "her pseudo grand-babies" will think of her with love as well as her numerous cousins, and about a bazillion friends and acquaintances, and one who was more like family Simone Gauthier. Judy touched so many with her huge personality - for how small her stature, no one could ever fill her tiny shoes. Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. Bernadette's Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road, Winnipeg, MB at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 680 Archibald Street 204-253-5086 ejcoutu.com

So very sorry to hear of Judy's passing. My condolences to her family and friends. I pray she is with the Angels now. Many years ago our kids took swimming lessons together at Boni-Vital thru the K of C. - Posted by: Debi Provost () on: Nov 13, 2013

We will miss you 'mom'. You are loved by many and I know that we will see each other again someday. I will miss your laugh, your fierce protectiveness and mourn that my children won't know you. As a family, all who knew you, will do our best to come together and continue on and face life head on. I know it's what you would want, if only you were here to tell us. I miss you. I love you. I can't wait to see you again. - Posted by: Naomi Strain () on: Nov 01, 2013

Our deepest condolences to her children, Mother, and family. Judy was always included in family functions, because she was more than a long time family friend, she was family. She will be missed. God took you home far to soon...Rest in peace Judy. - Posted by: Robert (Kip) and Valerie Kipling (Friends) on: Nov 01, 2013

My deepest sympathy to all of Judy's family. We are all so saddened, and I think still in disbelief that she could really be gone. For such a little lady, Judy had a huge personality! Today I realized that it's almost 16 years to the day that we met. We had both taken our babies (Derrick & Quinn) to Maybank School while our older children went to a Hallowe'en dance. Somehow because we both had babies, we got to talking, and next thing I knew, the kids were both going to the same day care. Over the years, my daughters spent many hours at Judy's house, and they came to think of her as a second mother - she always called them "my girl" when she spoke to them. I always knew that she would protect them just as fiercely as her own children. She was really one of a kind, and I wil always remember her with love. - Posted by: Kristen Neilson (friend) on: Oct 30, 2013
