Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIOLANDA AIELLO December 17, 1932 - October 27, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Iolanda on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Victoria General Hospital. Iolanda leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 55 years Pietro, sons Pasquale (Pina), Giuseppe "Joe" (Tamara), grandchildren Peter, Samantha, Adrianna, Franco, Corrina, Mickele and Luca. She also leaves behind her sister Serafina (Gaspere) Trunzo, mother-in-law Giuseppina Aiello, brother-in-law Giuseppe Aiello, sister-in-law Rita (Giuseppe) Cuda and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law in her hometown of San Mango D'Aquino, Italy; as well as many nieces and nephews, both in Winnipeg and in Italy that cared for and loved her deeply. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Condolences are welcomed between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. A private family interment will follow. Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano celebrant. Pallbearers will be Peter Aiello, Franco Aiello, Frank Trunzo, Fred Cuda, Pino Trunzo and Stefano Trunzo. Honorary pallbearer will be Mickele Aiello. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the whole staff at the Vista Park Lodge and to the palliative care staff at the Victoria General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Iolanda to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Patrick and I are so sorry to hear of Iolanda's passing. It was always a pleasure to see her and Peter walking every morning or in the afternoon on the beach.
