Lamay/Viewing will be held on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, 2013 commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1006 Nairn Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Prayer Vigil will be held at 8:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1006 Nairn Ave. on Friday evening, Rev. Father Jorge Mante officiating. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington St. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow with interment in the Philippines at a later date. A Reception for family and friends will be held at the Mosaic Reception Centre, 1839 Inkster Blvd. following the Mass. Nida and I were friends for 31 years, she was like a sister to me, a very very good friend, throughout her ordeals, we were always there to support her, she was loved by so many people, a very thoughtful friend, a fighter who fought till the end, you are with our creator now, no more pains, no more sufferings, we will miss you but I know that wherever you are, you're happy with your loved ones, your mom and dad and your brother, we will cherish all our memories, and always remember we will take care of Ate Mila, till we meet again my dear friend. - Posted by: Nida crisostomo (friend) on: Nov 09, 2013

I knew Nida from Deer Lodge and she was the most positive person I met. She remained so positive throughout her illness that she was an inspiration to us all.
