Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRADLEY ANTHONY RUPTASH Peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Selkirk General Hospital after a heroic battle with cancer, Bradley passed away at the age of 52 years with his loving wife Nadine by his side. Bradley will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Nadine of 23 years, cherished children Kyle and Alicia, parents Tony and Sophie, sister Sharon Kuzminski (Jim), sister Linda Jasper (Wayne), mother-in-law Evelyn Kulikowski, sister-in-law Christine Tataryn (Robert), brother-in-law Dale Kulikowski (Carol) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law Adam Kulikowski. Bradley was born on May 31, 1961 in Winnipeg. After graduating as a welder, he worked for Motor Coach and Canada Metal but his years spent working in the maintenance department at Club Regent were his most favourite. He enjoyed being a music man at various social functions, talking on his ham radio and camping with family and friends. Bradley loved people and loved life. He would always be there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. But above all, Bradley lived for his wife and children. As a devoted father, he would be seen volunteering at many school and extra-curricular activities, always being there for his children. Bradley will be missed immensely. The family cannot put into words, the deep gratitude and appreciation they have for the entire medical community that assisted Bradley over the years with his battle with cancer. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, November 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 725 Henderson Hwy, East Selkirk. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at the East Selkirk Cemetery. So very sorry to hear about a young fellow who was so full of life and always laughing. That's what I remember about Brad. I briefly worked with Brad and his Dad Tony in Winnipeg at Canada Metal. My sincere condolences to Brad's family and friends. I knew Brad through the union (CAIMAW) when he started to work at Canada Metal. He became a shop steward and served on the Bargaining committee.
