SHIRLEY GERALDINE BALL August 30, 1949 October 25, 2013 Peacefully, on October 25, 2013, Shirley passed away at Groveby, in the Manitoba Developmental Centre in Portage la Prairie, MB. She was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Kay Ball in 1999. Mom and dad looked after Shirley for the first 25 years before moving to Groveby where she was very well looked after for the last 39 years. Shirley will forever be remembered by her sisters Pat (Dave) Rebizant and Maureen (Reg) Dixon; brother Jim (Chris) Ball and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service was held at the Notre Dame Cemetery in Selkirk. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff and caregivers at Groveby. In lieu of flowers, donation's in Shirley's memory can be made to Lake Manitoba Camp Legacy Inc., Box 1532, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 3P5.
