Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOLORES MARIE KENNEDY (nee HOGUE) September 20, 1946 November 4, 2013 It is with utmost sadness we announce the passing of Dolores on November 4, 2013. Dolores was born in Winnipeg on September 20, 1946 and after a short battle with cancer, was taken from us too soon. She will be greatly missed by her husband Ken, children Shaun (Kelly), Shannon (Rick), grandchildren Maegan, Logan and Meagen, brothers and sisters Gloria (Tom), Ed (Carol), Craig (Harriet), Keith (Giselle), Neil (Priscilla), Brenda, Randy, Nelson, Karen (Kelly) and numerous nieces and nephews. Dolores was predeceased by her parents Nelson and Agnes and grandfather Charlie. Dolores loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved travelling to Alberta with Ken to see her son and his family each year. Dolores seemed to know everyone wherever she went and was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She touched many lives and will be sadly missed by all. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster Street to celebrate her life. A reception to follow, and all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Special thank you to the staff in ICU, Emergency and CancerCare at St. Boniface Hospital. So sad to hear of the Kennedy family's loss. Dolores was such a sweet lady. Her and and her family were always so thankful for care they received. I'm so sorry for their loss. I was greeted by her smile and friendliness many, many mornings when I worked at HSC. Never forgot her. I was saddened to hear that Delores has passed away. For many years my work day started with a conversation with Delores while buying my morning coffee. She was a wonderful person with a beautiful smile and I am certain a beautiful soul. My condolences to her family. Dolores always had this beautiful smile; I loved her beautiful hair. My condolences to her family. I have never seen anyone who NEVER had a rough day in her life. Dolores, I will miss your wonderful smile and positive energy. Everyday at Guildy's you are always jolly and makes me feel good when I have a stressful day. I will remember you passing by my lunch table and smiling at us. I was deeply saddened to hear about Mrs. Kennedy's passing. Her kindness was felt by so many in the neighbourhood; especially the Mission Gardens kids. She made growing up in our little community so much better. I will always have great childhood memories of her.
