• HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANNY! Thinking about you and missing you. It is hard to believe that it has been so long since we have talked. I have been to the Doctors ALOT! Poppa and Mums have even been driving me all the way to San Francisco UCSF. Trying to get healed and healthy again but boy it sure seems to be taking a LONG time. • Hi Granny, I really wanted to write to you the other day but I have been having computer problems. Now I completely understand why you felt NO need for a computer because they can be extremely frustrating!! It is hard to believe that it has been 2 years since you began your journey with God. In my mind I can just see you, Grampa, Baba, Gagu, Uncle Ronnie, Aunty Margaret, Duanne, Phil, Uncle Leonard, Jeff, Kurt and all of our other family and friends gathered around together. • Hi Granny, I was just thinking about you as I walked by your picture. Sorry it has been so long since I have written to you. Been really busy with alot of Doctor/Dentist appts and trying to get a little rest in between. Dad has been taking me and helping me out so much, he has really been patient with me but I feel so bad for him when he has to push me in the wheelchair. Moms always there to help out too by sending yummy food over when I am hurting too bad to cook. I feel so blessed to have such loving and caring parents. • Hi mom, it's me again, saying a big hi and to let you know we miss you alot. We went to visit Gerry & Carolyn and celebrated their 50th anniversary with them, we had a great time. We also went to Manitoba and visited the family. We went to your and pops graves site. They did a beautiful job of the engraving. Ivy and I went shopping and bought a flower holder and all different kinds of silk flowers to put in it. It looked very nice. Den & Joe brought good soil from his house and grass seed. They got rid of the hump of dirt, spread the good dirt spread the grass seed and in a few days it was up. A big thanks to Joe and Ivy. They are so loving, caring and very helpful when you need help. We were so happy that your gravesite looked very nice when they had the blessing of the deceased. • Hi Granny...I miss you so much and think of you every day. Mom and dad brought home the prayer candle I gave to you and I light it everyday and think of you. I will always remember the long phone calls we shared, laughing and chit chatting about everything under the sun. Somehow we were never at a loss for words. I have a great picture of you, Grampa and Kurt together all with such nice smiles. That is how I see you all. I know you were ready to go but...we were not ready to let you go. That is the hard part. I am so glad dad got to spend some quality time with you and that he was there for you when you needed him the most! Granny, there has just been just way too much loss this year... I am only hoping that 2014 will be a much better year. • Granny had such a sharp mind and quick wit. Even in her 90s, she used to say until very recently that "elevators are for old people". She had spunk, strength and kindness.
