  • We are sorry for your loss. Pat was a person who enjoyed friends and life. We had a lot of great times together. She was always kind and full of life during her days in Winnipeg. The odd trip she made in Brandon was full of adventure and everyone loved her. We are Thankful for what we shared. Our Sympathy to the family. • To Patricia, a great friend and workmate and one of the smartest people I've ever known. Thanks for all the memories, too many of which involved The West Country, the Rendezvous, the Langley Hotel and La Bourguignon. Thanks for the friends I met through you, you know who you are. Wherever you are I know you're with Gaffer and Daisy, tell Daisy I forgive her for biting me. - Posted by: Ray Dornan (Friend, Co-worker) on: Nov 20, 2013

  • We (May and I) First met Pat in the early 60's in Winnipeg. Then we moved to Surrey BC. She came out for a visit from Winnipeg borrowed our car and smashed it up in an accident. Good thing that the car accident was not her fault, we accepted a cash payout from the insurance company and we fixed the car ourselves, the payout became a down payment for the purchase of our first home in Surrey BC. The tragedy had turned into a blessing. Then when she was moving from Winnipeg to Surrey she asked us to find a rental home, we couldn't find one, none were available, so we called her and asked her if we buy a home will you rent it, she replied yes, because of Pat we were able to purchase our 2nd home. I attribute the start of all our real estate holdings to Pat, if the events had not unfolded as they did we would not be in the position we are in today. She stayed a dear friend of ours. We saw each other almost every week. We enjoyed dinners at her place and our place throughout the years on a regular basis. She became part of our family and also our tax consultant and accountant, both personally and for our business. Thank you Pat for all the memories of our times together, and all the many deep discussions, you won a lot of them. • To my friend Pat, an inspiration in motion - you kept me going whether we were together or far apart. Love you ever - Sandy - Posted by: Sandra Pahl (Friend) on: Nov 16, 2013

  • My heart goes out to Pat's family. As a young girl, I was treated like and considered part of her "family" of friends in BC. My Mom, Sandy Pahl, and Pat were great and enduring friends. My sister and I loved Pat and missed her when we moved away to start our lives. Our lives would have been forever different had it not been for Pat's loving big heart. She was an amazing lady and I will remember her singing, her kindness and her fierce love of life. - Carla - Posted by: Carla (Robertson) Stout (Neice by Friendship) on: Nov 16, 2013
