Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDR. GEORGE MATHEW Dr. George Mathew was born February 21, 1939 in an Orthodox Christian family in Kerala, India. He graduated from Christian Medical School, Ludhiana India in 1962 and received his FRCS in Edinborough, Scotland in 1968. He moved with his family to Canada in 1975. He practiced in Nokomis and Regina, SK for over 30 years. He passed away on November 18, 2013 from complications of interstitial pneumonitis at Riverview Health Centre. He leaves to mourn his death, his loving wife Dr. Ann Mathew of 44 years, his daughter, Dr. Lisa (Erik) PausJenssen of Saskatoon, his son Dr. George (Kristi) Mathew, and his beautiful grandchildren Sarah, Chloe, Gabriel and Grace. Also left to mourn is his aunt Dr. Mary Mathew, sisters (Lizzy, Sally), brothers (Blessen, Laji and Joji) and their families, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and their families. We would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Riverview Health Centre palliative care unit 3E. Funeral to be held at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the palliative care unit at Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Avenue E., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 2P4.
