VIRGILIO B. BAUTISTA January 1, 1946 - November 14, 2013 With heavy hearts, our family wishes to announce the passing of Virgillio B. Bautista "Tatay Boy" on November 14, 2013. Beloved husband to Virginia Zoleta Bautista. Loving father to Judith (Giovanni) and Mark (Lorelie). Grandfather to his only grandchild Juliana Patrice whom he adored greatly. He was predeceased by his sister Flocerfida, his father Igmidio, and his mother Juliana, who he devoted his retirement years to care for her. He was a brother to Myrna (Rowel), Amante (Ofelia), Mirasol (Judel), Adela, and Cynthia (Celso). They grew up together in the Philippines and he came to Canada in 1989. He was always a hard worker and was a very skilled mechanic. He was an uncle, but mostly a father figure to Miradel (Johvanni), Maribel (Jordan), Marlenne, Judelmir, Amafel (Dianne), Rose (Josh) , Arriane, Adrianne, and Aira Kaye. He was also a great-uncle to Ryu, Maxcyn, Madelyn, Angelyn and Johvanni Jr. Tatay Boy always put his family first. He always found happiness in all situations and was always easy going. As he said before he passed, "Life is too short, without laughter". Lamay/Viewing will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 commencing at 6:00 p.m. with prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m. led by Rev. Father Boguslaw Wardzinski at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St., Rev. Father Boguslaw Wardzinski celebrant. Interment to take place in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. A reception for family and friends will be held following the interment at the Mosaic Reception Centre.
