KENNETH MCKAY Suddenly on November 15, 2013 Kenneth Alexander McKay passed away at Park Manor Personal Care Home at the age of 83 years. He was born on June 17, 1930 in Fort William (Thunder Bay), ON. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife Claire. He is also survived by his daughter Colleen Krystik (Bob), Cranbrook, BC, her children and grandchildren (Ken was thrilled to be a grandfather and great-grandfather); his stepdaughter Judy Williamson and her family; his sister Helen Burnett, Courtney, BC, and his sister-in-law Joan McKay, Thunder Bay, ON. Ken was predeceased by his parents Alex and Elizabeth; his first wife Winnifred; his brothers Gordon, Arthur and Donald, and his sisters Marjory and Patricia. Ken worked 38 years for the C.N.R., ending his career in the Rules Department. He was a fortunate man who loved his job. He particularly enjoyed his breakfasts with his fellow retired railroaders. A private service led by Fr. Jan Spyrka will be followed by interment in the Memorial Garden at Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Mass intentions will be greatly appreciated.
