  • I only knew Maiga since we moved to Winnipeg in 2008. But from the first time I met her I was very fond of her. For someone who was so tiny she could hug you with the strength of an anaconda...She always wanted to be in the hot sun and often talked about Jamaica...she was a lovely lady and I will miss her a lot... - Posted by: Flo McDonald (friend) on: Nov 28, 2013

  • Maiga was a very good friend and great encouragement to my wife and I in our early marriage. Her zeal for the ministry was infectious as she had a great love for people. We used to joke with her about getting her auxilary pioneer hours early in the month by saying- what do you call a pioneer who gets her time by the middle of the month- you're a Mega-Boltin. She hated the snow and cold and we would joke that I ordered white sands not snow which she never seemed get tired of that joke as her eyes would twinkle everytime I said that. She has made a great name with Jehovah- her best friend, who yearns to have her back on earth in perfect health, and maybe in a warm tropical area. Travis- you and Ester were great to your Mom, a real example for all of us. - Posted by: TerryWilson (friend) on: Nov 25, 2013
