  • Charlie and I became very good friends when we teamed up with many others in federal politics. I was a young novice and was really blessed to have Charlie and others help me learn the ropes. I will always have fond memories of the entire Fred family. He will now be back together with his best friend Aileen with the same smiles that never seemed to end. God bless you Charlie. - Posted by: Lanny Smith (Friend of the family) on: Dec 07, 2013

Oh Rick ... oh Rick ... oh Rick ... you have lost a dear friend ... really cannot express how I feel for both of you ... yet sure hope you know. Did not see the notice until this evening, or would have been there. My heart tells me you will lean on each other and hold each other up through this time of loss.
