Frank was a friend and work mate of my brother James Skilnick and that is how I met Frank. We spent my hours talking on the phone or at my shop discussing the latest events. Frank and my brother used to talk back and forth on the phone, got out for lunches at different places, just like they did together when they were on the road in Vancouver. My brother passed away in 2011 and Frank always called to tell me how much he missed talking with him and we would continue our conversation on just like he talked with my brother. Rest in Peace Frank. - Posted by: Edward Skilnick (Friend) on: Dec 02, 2014

From what I remember growing up, my uncle was a kind and gentle man. He treated his great nephew, David, with utmost reverence and compassion. He was a funny man, whose humour always took us by surprise, given he was a somewhat reserved and private individual. He treated my husband Armand, myself and our son David with respect, unconditional love and friendship. I will miss him a great deal. With the passing of my father, Leonard Williams, my grandmother Emelia Williams, and now my Uncle Frank, I will miss all of them dearly. I will never forget you Uncle. You made an impression upon me and my family forever. Thank you for being who you were and know you impacted those who loved you. - Posted by: Debbie Herie (née Williams) (Niece) on: Dec 13, 2013

For the last decade or so Frank was my greatest "culinary fan". At each Winnipeg PC User Group Picnic, Frank would tell all within earshot how much he enjoyed holiday meals with us, be it devilled eggs and cheesecake at Easter, pumpkin mousse at Thanksgiving or, best of all, the honey cake at Christmas that reminded him so much of his mother's. Each Christmas season my husband, John, would chauffeur Frank on his "Charity Cheque Run". We wonder how many besides the three of us knew of his generosity. An empty chair at our holiday table; Frank will be missed. - Posted by: Harriet Kesson (Friend) on: Dec 08, 2013

Frank was a close friend of my late uncle/cousin Sid Todres. They were unseparable when they were both at the University of Winnipeg and I remember many pleasant conversations with Frank. My condolences to the family and hopefully he and Sid can hang out together again. - Posted by: Mayer Pawlow (Aquaintance) on: Dec 06, 2013

Gerry and I always had Frank over for Christmas dinner since I moved back to Winnipeg. This Christmas would have been 14 years. He always brought a bottle of wine (God love him) and shared stories with his family. Christmas this year will not be the same. He will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace Frank. - Posted by: Linda Stojanowski and Gerald Power (Second cousin and my husband) on: Dec 04, 2013
