Hi Cheryle and family. I just heard about your mum and so sorry that I cannot make it to the funeral today. Your mum was a great lady - she was so proud of you and her grand-kids...she talked about them all the time so you felt like you knew a little bit about them! Your mum did love life to the fullest and did so in her own way! She overcame many health issues with lots of determination and a positive attitude. She will be missed by many. Ruth was a great lady to know and a joy to be with. Take care and hugs to you and your family. xoxo Sandy Hamm - Posted by: Sandy Hamm (Friend) on: Dec 18, 2013

So sad to hear of Ruth's passing. Ruth was such a friendly, jovial person. Ruth was so proud of her kids and her grandkids. I had the pleasure of teaching her daughter and granddaughter at HTS. Ruth was always there supporting them in the various activities they participated in. To Cheryle, Jamie Sarah and Spencer, remember all the great times you had with mom / grandma! God Bless. - Posted by: Don & Bonny Hutniak (Long time aquaintances.) on: Dec 17, 2013

I am so sad to hear of Ruth's passing. She was such a strong, courageous lady. She always kept a positive attitude, and tried not to let anything get her down. I have many fond memories of visiting with Ruth at her home in Gonor and at my parents' place. She was always so good to everyone, so generous with her time and her delicious cooking. Some of my favourite memories include having our Easter baskets blessed together, and Ruth sharing some old family photo albums. Although Ruth will be truly missed here on Earth, I'm sure that Eddy, Ricky, her Mom, and many others are happy to welcome her into Heaven. My thoughts and prayers to Cheryle, Jamie, Sarah and Spencer. - Posted by: Dineen Gagnon (Family) on: Dec 17, 2013
