MARION ANGE ALDEA POIRIER (nee GAUDREY) Marion Ange Aldea Poirier, born April 24, 1929 in Lisieux, Saskatchewan. It is with great sadness that we announce that she passed away peacefully on January 1, 2014 at Concordia Place, her residence for a number of years. Her husband, Azarie Joseph George Poirier predeceased her in 2008. She is survived by her daughters, Doris, Paulette (Jim), Rita and Jeannine, her sons, Ronald (Debbie) and Pierre (Mercedes); also her grandchildren, whom she adored, Drewe, John James, Trevor (Angel), Ben (Kim), Mathew, Jamie and Kimberley, and her great-grandchildren, Dan and Angel. Of her five brothers and three sisters she is survived by her brother Marcel Gaudry, and sisters, Alice Weaver and Flo Hill. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m., Holy Redeemer Church, 264 Donwood Drive, Winnipeg, MB R2G 0W5. A reception will follow the mass.
