RYAN SCOTT SIGFUSSON September 18, 1986 - January 8, 2014 Sadly on January 8, 2014, Ryan Scott Sigfusson passed away. He will be greatly missed by his mother Wendy Sigfusson (Oluf); his father Terry Sigfusson (Debbie); sister Jackie Torgerson (David); brother Tim Sigfusson; nephews Dawson, Devon, Kohl, and niece Shyanne; grandmother Pat Cook; girlfriend Melanie Griffin, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Ryan is predeceased by his grandfathers Jack Cook and Tom Sigfusson, his grandmother Viola Sigfusson, and uncle Ken Mykichuk. Ryan was raised in Lundar, Manitoba. He worked as a lineman for Valard Construction and enjoyed the challenging work and goofing off with his crew members. Ryan also enjoyed being with his friends doing numerous activities such as playing hockey, hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed his time spent with the honorary pallbearers Lucas Howardson, Ryan Burdett, Kevin Lindal, Chayce Loewen, Steven Kaartinen, Jason Kaartinen, Donny Malcolm and Tyler Kollman. He will be fondly remembered as a wonderful little brother, son, grandson, nephew, an amazing uncle and a true friend. Those who knew him will never forget his smile and laugh and how they would light up a room. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Lundar Community Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. A lunch will follow the service at the hall and an interment will be held in the Lundar Municipal Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Lucas Howardson and Ryan Burdett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ryan to the CIBC, PO Box 270, Lundar, MB R0C 1Y0 where the donations will be used toward the new sportsplex in Lundar.
