Words seem so inadequate to describe the beautiful and kind spirit of my Aunty Alice. You were such a big part of my life growing up in Winnipeg. You always made me feel so special and loved as your goddaughter. But then again loving and caring for others was just your way and everyone who knew you can attest to that. I will always fondly remember numerous gourmet meals at the Watson's house, birthday celebrations, trips to Clear Lake, Christmas letters, and time spent visiting as families. It has been a few years since I've been able to see you but just looking at your picture made me feel so grateful for all the joyful times we spent together. Uncle Ken, Stephen, Grant, and Blair my heart goes out to all of you and I hope that you will be able to find peace and strength in each other and in the comfort of all those that knew and loved her. I have so many fond memories of Aunt Alice who showed me so many kindnesses throughout my life. Though I saw little of her in recent years, I will continue to think of her often. I know the same is true for many others and, though her passing is sad, she lives on in these happy memories of her that we keep. - Posted by: Donald Slater (Nephew) on: Jan 19, 2014
