Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILE RENDULIC Mile Rendulic, after a long and full life, it is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, Tata and Dida on January 9, 2014 at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 79 years. Mile was born in Batnoga, Croatia on July 12, 1934 to parents Vid and Janja. In 1958, shortly before they started a new life in Winnipeg, he married his loving wife, Janja in Austria. He worked for many years in construction as a carpenter and took pride in everything he accomplished. He eventually retired from Canadian Pacific Railroad. Mile loved being outdoors, and held a special place in his heart for weekends spent at the cabin. There he was always going to his favourite fishing spot and loved being surrounded by family. He was very passionate and held a great sense of pride for his Croatian culture and heritage. He was an active lifelong member of the United Croats of Canada and Past President of 10 Travanj. He enjoyed and spent many hours volunteering in the Croatian community and was a devout Catholic. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters Milka and Dragica, and brother Ante. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Janja; sons Mile (Janet) and Zvone (Ines), daughter Milka (Andy), and his cherished grandchildren Krista, David, Katrina, and Julia. He leaves behind his niece Marica (Mladan) and their family as well many nieces and nephews in Croatia, USA, Germany and Australia, and many cherished friends. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. with Vigil for the deceased at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13 both at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January, 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Tavelich Church, 2688 Main Street with Father Robert Polz presiding. Tata will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the staff and doctors at Seven Oaks General Hospital, and the support of many friends. POCIVAJ U MIRU BOZJEM I OSTAJETE UVIEK U NASIM SRCIMA. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

- Posted by: Stipe Pleša (Friend) on: Jan 14, 2014

I shall forever remember my stric Mile for his gentleness and soft voice but yet had a boisterous laugh and a certain mischief about him. I have fond memories as a child of my Tata and him sitting at one of our Christmas parties just telling stories and always playing jokes on someone. They were quite the pair! I am sure they already are scheming something in heaven❤ Pocivajte u miru bozjem❤ - Posted by: Milka Paulic (Niece) on: Jan 11, 2014
