My most sincere condolences to Lorne, Ryan and Monique. Gramma Lucille's hugs and cuddles will be so missed by my children and grandchildren. She was the most warm, caring, loving woman and she "adopted" my family without hesitation. Will miss her lots. - Posted by: Dale Lloyd (Friend) on: Mar 31, 2014

I met Lucille through our good friend Joyce Gessner, we were Rummikub buddies. Dinners out and hours of Rummikub, till the outings were too hard, then we went to potluck dinners at Lucille's. No matter how hard we tried, she always managed to kick our behinds at it.... Gentle heart, good friend and a mean Rummikub player. I will miss our dinners and time together. Rest in peace Lucille and please say hi to Joyce. I can already hear the tiles turning :) - Posted by: Susan Severdija (Friend) on: Feb 10, 2014

'Grandma', Ryan and I will miss you dearly, especially your phone calls, "checking in" on me, and of course staying in touch with your beloved grandson. Your loving care and concern for us touched us deeply and your memory will live in our hearts forever. We were blessed to have you in our lives for a long time, and now, may you rest in the arms of the angels. - Posted by: Monique Oleschuk () on: Jan 13, 2014

Lucille was an elder in the community where I grew up. I always enjoyed her visits. Her humour, vitality, and graciousness never ceased to inspire me. She will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Linda Guest (family friend) on: Jan 11, 2014
