Had a lot of good times in our younger years, lived and laughed, drank a few beers (Transcona, Anola, Dugald, etc.) You were one of a kind, you lived it to the end buddy. See you on the other side, - Posted by: John Bourgeois (Friend ) on: Jan 17, 2014

Roger, our cousin, our childhood friend, the brother we never had, when we last met at your Mom's funeral 2 months ago, I asked you if you would ever consider moving back to Manitoba. You said no. I felt as though I would never see you again and now we have to say good bye for the last time. Our hearts are heavy but we have our memories to keep you alive. You are now with your family and all those that have left us too soon as you have. Your cousins, Monique, Rachelle, Edith - Posted by: Monique Renaud (cousin) on: Jan 15, 2014

Paul and Glenda spoke often about Roger and how great a person he was both as a great friend and neighbor. We visited with Paul and Glenda this past summer and were fortunate to meet Roger. He certainly is deserving of all the kind things that are being said about him. We are so glad we met him. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. Our sincerest sympathy to the family and friends. - Posted by: murray and sharon weir (parents of paul and glenda - rogers friends) on: Jan 14, 2014

Our sincere condolences to Roger's family. Roger and I were great friends growing up around the East End; and were fortunate enough to cross paths many years later in Fraserwood and then in Lac du Bonnet. Although we didn't see each other often, when we did we had a great time remembering our much younger days. Rest in Peace Buddy! Roger will be Sorely missed... He had an infectious smile and was fun to be around! From the days of our youth playing "Hide'n Seek" in Snow banks to having a few beers at his home or one of the Transcona Pubs! - Posted by: Gerry Desharnais (Friend) on: Jan 13, 2014
