MICHAEL UDO HASS November 24, 1961 - January 11, 2014 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael (Mike) Udo Hass on January 11 at his home. He is survived by his mother Adele Eger, brother Peter Hass, his wife Marina, daughter Shelley (Fred) and stepgranddaughter Tara Carpenter and numerous close family and friends. Mike was predeceased by his father Ferdinand Udo Hass. Mike was born in Montreal, Quebec, moving to Winnipeg in 1980 where he met Marina. We would like to thank the Palliative Care staff and the doctors and staff of St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion during Mike's illness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Flowers are gratefully declined. He was my step-dad but we became close spending father/daughter times like playing tennis, going to matinee movies, running errands together, playing pool & watching football or formula one racing. I called him Homer & he would call me Bart or the baby.
