Marlowe was predeceased by his father Marus; brother Dwayne; nieces Jamie-Lynn and Jessica-Dawn. Marlowe was born and raised in Riverton, MB. He worked at various jobs prior to beginning work with Corrections Canada, first at Headingly Correction and eventually the Winnipeg Remand Centre, he was very proud of his career. Times spent with his friends golfing and playing hockey were treasured by Marlowe. He was known for his love of his fur babies Snooki, Dora, Meesha and Wookie. He will always be remembered for his teasing and joking ways. His mother will deeply miss his nightly phone calls. The family would like to thank all his friends who tried to help in recent years. We truly appreciate your kindness. We will love and miss you always. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations may be made to Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church, Riverton, MB, at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow, Rev. Donna Smalley officiating. Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Marlowe and I grew up together(school, confirmation, sports, etc).He was a gifted athlete and a good friend. He was the perfect Tom Sawyer in a play we did in the 70s. He always made everyone laugh. One of his nicknames was the long arm of the law.(fitting for a corrections officer). My sincere condolences to Violet, Margo, Todd and their families. Miss you Bud. - Posted by: Danny (friend) on: Jan 26, 2014
