Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE CORMIER (nee LEMIRE) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Alice, on January 15, 2014, at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 90 years. Alice is lovingly remembered by her sons Roger and Andre, brother-in-law Auguste Peloquin, sister-in-law Aurore Cormier, best friend Irene Berard, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Gerard Cormier, sisters Annette Lambert, Juliette Peloquin and Bernadette Blanchet, and her many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Born on December 3, 1923 in St. Pierre-Jolys MB, mom enjoyed reading, playing cards, getting together and talking with her many friends and relatives. She also enjoyed her outings with her two boys, whom she loved very dearly. The children would like to thank the numerous doctors and wonderful staff of Victoria General Hospital for the compassionate care given to our mom. Viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missionnaires d'Afrique-Pere Blancs, 151 Rue Despins, Winnipeg, MB R2H 0L7. We really did not know Aunt Alice but exchanged Christmas cards for many years - but we remember with love our Uncle Gerry who was so kind and thoughtful when our father passed away many years ago - our sympathy goes out to Roger and Andre.
