REBECCA BORTS (nee MARGOLIS) Rebecca Borts passed away peacefully, at age 96, on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Simkin Centre. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Gail and Ted Hechter, Gary and Rachel Margolis, and Sheldon and Rita Margolis, as well as many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. The family is most grateful for the compassion and care given Rebecca by her caregivers Detas and Victoria as well as the staff of the Simkin Centre. Funeral services will be held at the Chesed Shel Emes, 1023 Main Street, at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2014 with interment at Rosh Pina Cemetery.
