DONALD GRYMALUK April 2, 1944 - January 16, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Don Grymaluk on January 16, 2014 peacefully with his family at his side. Don was a devoted husband, father, gramps, and friend. Don was predeceased by his parents Peter and Anne Grymaluk, and his brother Ted. Saddened by his loss are his beloved wife and best friend Wilma, son Jarod, daughter Nadeen (Rolly) Desmarais and their children Riley and Kendell; Scott Quantrell, Grant (Maureen) Drowsy and their children Tyler and Garyt. Don also shared a close relationship and will be deeply missed by his loving sister Maureen Grymaluk. Don retired from CN Rail (Symington Yards) where he developed many great friends and golfing buddies. Once retired, he enjoyed tinkering in the backyard with his pond "Twin Falls", of which he was especially proud. He also took great interest in building computers for all of his family, and partaking in many home improvement projects. Don took great pride in his close relationships with his grandchildren, and enjoyed attending their sports events and school activities. Don and Wilma also cherished their winter paradise together in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where they developed many special friendships with people from all over North America. The family would like to thank the all of the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the special care he was given. At Don's request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Don's memory to CancerCare, Manitoba or to a charity of your choice.
